Camera and ceiling height

You can get accurate measurements in the 3D workspace by setting camera and ceiling height. Setting the ceiling height also enables you to measure from the ceiling in the 3D workspace.

Set heights

  1. Click [Settings] on the image view.

  2. Enter the Camera height and click [Apply]. 

  3. Enter the Ceiling height of the site where the survey was taken. 

  4. If you don’t know the height, click [Not sure? Measure from the 360 image]. On the 360 image screen, click on the edge where the floor and wall meet. Then click again on the ceiling following the white circle on top as a base. 

  5. Click [Save] and apply the height to the survey.

Note: If you uploaded the survey from INSITE iOS app, the camera height is already saved as you have preset in the app.

Caution: After applying the camera height and ceiling height, the survey itself also should be saved for updating.
