Automatically blur all of the faces in your survey

Camera Height

The height of the 360 camera’s lens from the floor. This information is used to accurately measure distance.

Ceiling Height

If the height of the ceiling to the wall is known, it can be used to measure down from the ceiling.

Guest

An external user who can only access 3D workspace through a password-protected link.

A user role who has access to 3D builder and can create tags in 3D workspace.

The organization under which all buildings and users are a part of.

Floor plan annotation allows editors to add text, drawings, and notes onto the floor plan.

Floor Plan

An optional feature when measuring which allows users to see a zoomed-in view of where they are pointing to.

A menu that leads a user to dashboard, help center, management, and profile.

Search Bar

An input bar which can be used to search for various information in a table or a list.

Section View

A vertical cross-sectional map of the whole building.

Survey

The sum of both the capture and tag tasks from a single day represented as a 3D workspace.

Point (Former name: 3D point)

Single location on the floorplan or in the 3D Workspace linked to one 360° image.

Pointer

A UI following the mouse cursor on a 360° image that leads to the closest point from where clicked.

Survey Browser

A UI that indicates the version of survey, with an expandable list to enter.

Survey Editor (Former name: 3D Builder)

A management interface tool where an admin/editor edit 360 images and point connection of each survey.

Password - protected Link

A password-protected link that can be shared with external users.

Starting position

The position and rotation of the view from which the 3D workspace initially opens.

Thumbnail

A cover image on the building profile.

Tag

A container of the information displayed in the 3D space or floor plan. (web & app)

Time Comparison

A split-screen view comparing two images taken from the same point at two different times.

User

All roles of INSITE solution.

Viewer

A user role that has full read access to the 3D workspace.

Trash

Deleted surveys will remain in the trash for 60 days before permanently being removed from the system. During this period, the editor is able to restore the survey.

Tracking tour

An interactive recording of a path within the 3D workspace.

A specification of the facility in the building.

User status

An invited user can have one of three statuses: verified (has accepted the invite), expired (invite period has expired), pending (still pending action to the invitation).
