Line Measurement

You can measure in the 3D Workspace by creating vertical and horizontal lines. Measurements can be created in a polyline, as well as a single line.

Note: Functions in the side panel are disabled when in measure mode in order to prevent conflicting actions.

    1. Click on a point to start measuring. By default, measurements are made from the floor as a reference.

    Edit mode

    8. To edit measurements, use the pan tool (blue star) to select the measurement and click+drag the vertex to the new position.

    9. When editing points that are “mid-air”, notice the guide line and mesh to indicate the position.

    10. You can save your measurement by clicking on the Save button (blue star).

    Tip: The following are tips for the best practice.

    1. Click the [Save] button on the left-bottom of the screen.

    2. To edit the created line object, click the [Hand] button to select the object. Click on a vertex and drag it to the desired position.

    8. To delete a line object you have created, click the [Hand] button, select the object you want to delete, and then click the [Trash bin] at the bottom-center of the screen. If you want to delete all at once, click the [Broom] button.

    Tip:

    • Adjust the viewing angle so that the measurements can be on the center of the main screen.

    • You can also end the Polyline measurement by snapping the last point onto the first point.

    • When drawing the verticle line, hold [shift key] and it will fix the vertical axis and make it easier to draw a line.

    • For accurate measurement, line creation (measurement) has to start from the floor. To measure from the ceiling down, the ceiling height must be set. Refer to” Change the ceiling height “in the Survey Editor.

    1. Click on floor #1 in the image below. Drag the mouse to corner #2 in the image below by holding down the [shift key]. *Thevertical line is indicated with a blue dotted line.

    2. Click on the #2 and release the [shift key] to drag the mouse to corner #3. *The horizontal axis is indicated with a white dotted line.

    4. Click on the [Check button] to finish creating the line.

    When measuring, the angle dynamically updates after the second click to show the degree angle generated with the second point.

    Build 3D objects

    By default, measurements are made in reference to the floor. For more advanced measurements, you can build a 3D box or a plane to serve as a reference for measurement.

      1. Click the [3D Object]button in the toolbar.

      2. Click on 2 points to create one side, drag, and click to create a 2D box. Drag pointer to the vertical axis and click at the desired height to create a 3D box. Once built, the 3D objects will display the LxWxH dimensions as well as the surface area (S) and the volume (V). 

      3. After building 3D objects, click (blue star) to switch to [Measure] modethe [Line]button.

      4. Select any two points 3D on objects and get measurements.

      5. You can save your 3D object by clicking on the [Save button(blue star)].

      Use tools

      Use tools to explore the 360 image on the main screen with created measurements and 3D objects, to get the calculation and to delete.

      Pan tool
      1. On the toolbar, click (blue star) icon to overview all the measurements and 3D objects in the 3D Workspace.

      2. Hover over any visible plane to get the area calculated.

      3. After selecting a certain measurement or object, click (blue star) to delete the selected object. You can click and delete the measurements and 3D objects one by one.

      4. Click (blue star) icon on the toolbar to clear all measures and 3D boxes in the 3D Workspacecreated 3D object, hover the mouse over the axis and click & drag the white circle. To edit the size of the 3D object, hover the mouse over the surface of the object and click and drag the white dot.
